Helga Dukarić Dangubić, Professor – Excellent Advisor (the highest professional advancement rank within the Croatian educational system), is a choir conductor, music educator, and artistic director of the Mixed Choir Rijeka – Sempre Allegro, as well as conductor of the Joint Choir of Andrija Mohorovičić Gymnasium and First Croatian Gymnasium Rijeka, where she also teaches Music Arts. Throughout her long-standing professional career, she has successfully led numerous children's, youth, and mixed choirs and vocal ensembles, achieving remarkable results at national and international competitions, winning numerous gold and silver awards as well as special distinctions for conducting and artistic excellence. She is the recipient of the professional title Maestra Mentor, awarded by the Croatian Choral Directors Association, together with numerous prestigious recognitions for her educational, artistic, and professional achievements. She received the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Award for the Most Successful Educational Professional, and in 2025 was additionally honoured with the Annual Award of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County for exceptional achievements in education, music pedagogy, and choral performance, as well as for continuous excellence, international recognition, and significant contributions to promoting the County at both national and international levels. The Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia recognized her among the most successful educational professionals in Croatia for two consecutive years (2023/2024 and 2024/2025), awarding her for her outstanding contribution to the development and improvement of the Croatian educational system. She is actively involved in international cooperation through eTwinning and Erasmus projects, for which she has received multiple national and European recognitions, including the National Quality Label and European Quality Label awards. She regularly serves as a jury member at national and international choral and vocal competitions and participates as a lecturer at professional and scientific conferences in Croatia and abroad. Her professional expertise and artistic work have been widely recognized and highly valued both in Croatia and internationally.
