Tereza Podlogar studied musical pedagogy at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and organ at the Music Conservatory in Klagenfurt/Austria. As a part of a student exchange she spent a year studying choral conducting and organ at the Cologne Music Academy in Germany. She gained important experience in a field of choral music as a singer of Academic Choir Tone Tomšič of the University of Ljubljana. With this choir she performed in many concerts and international competitions and also won the European Grand Prix in Debrecen (2008). Since 2009 she is a conductor of the Mixed Youth Choir Veter Ljubljana, with which she has won some golden plaquettes at national and international competitions (Zagorje ob Savi, Bratislava, Herceg Novi). In 2018 the choir won golden plaquette with honor at the Slovenian national competition for children and youth choirs in Zagorje ob Savi. The choir also recieved a special prize for the best interpretation of the folk song and Podlogar recieved a special prize for the best programme. Under her leadership the Veter Choir often collaborates with young Slovenian composers by ordering new choral works written especially for mixed youth choirs. She is also a conductor of the Slovenian National Bank Choir and she teaches at the Music Conservatory Jurij Slatkonja in Novo  mesto and at the Music School Ribnica.
